
OUR OFFER
Keeping it light and fun, if we try to experiment ourselves, we will browse some sicilian recipes book, select what we want to try and then we will go to the local markets and buy all the ingredients (fish, seafood, meats, veggies). Or we can do the other way around, we let ourselves tempted by what we find and figure out how to cook like a sicilian… or something like that. Together with the herbs and fruits from our garden we will get to work. The outdoor kitchen and barbeque or the indoor one will be our playground and we can work individually or we share. The end result will be on our own table, drowned in some nice local wines or other drinks.
Sometimes, we manage to invite a local chef or a nona to cook for us like a true sicilian. And if we are really lucky, we will invite our friend the famous Chef Rita Russotto, owner together with her husband, of the nearby herbs garden Gli Aromi, to organize for us a full dinner in pure sicilian style. Or we might have to go to her place nearby and at the same time learn a bit more about all those mediterranean aromatic plants and herbs from the husband, who is a PhD in Agricultural Sciences.
And if you like what you have tasted, you might even have a chance to buy some of the products and ingredients to take home with you.
